What’s New In This Release?

ECi is loading Version 9.0.6 on your live ECinteractive® and is.D-Force® 2 Web servers this weekend. The software update for this major release will take place between 9 PM CST Saturday, July 25, and 6 AM CST Sunday, July 26.

Since this falls within ECi's Standard Weekly Data Center Maintenance timeframe
(www.DDMS.com/support/massfax/dcMtceWindow.htm), it does not require any changes to your Site Maintenance schedule.

In this release, you'll find the following software changes:

Resize Thumbnail Pix for S.P. Richards Enhanced Content (9563)

We've enlarged the thumbnail images to 65x65 pixels on the following pages: Search Results/Browse, View Shopping Cart/Cart Confirmation Page, Shop from Favorites List, Machine Matching, Contracts and Laundry Lists, and Web Specials.

This larger thumbnail will be available for sites set up to use SPR Enhanced Content on the Administrative Site Preferences page, and for shoppers whose feature settings group is set to Enable Enhanced Content.

Integrate United Smart Search Categories (9430)

In the ECinteractive family of Web storefronts, several pages integrate Enhanced Content product categories, previously only from S.P. Richards. This release extends this functionality to United Stationers dealers, whose sites once displayed Smart Search categories only on Home and Browse Catalog pages.

We’ve enhanced the Favorites, Contracts, Laundry Lists, and Web Specials pages to use item category labels from the United SmartSearch catalog, where applicable.

Your shoppers will see Smart Search categories if their account has United Enhanced Content enabled, if there are more than 25 items on their list, and if the user selects Show Products By Category.

If you map custom items to category trees in Custom Product Management, the Enhanced Content category has priority over the Standard Content category. Any remaining unmapped items on the user’s list fall into Miscellaneous.

Additional High-Priority Solutions

• Corrected so when searching using the Quick and Advanced Search tools on the end user site and clicking the Next Page link to view additional results, the system displays the proper items and does not increase the number or results. This occurred when using United's Enhanced Smart Search feature. (10022)
• Correct the filter for Contracts and Laundry Lists so that it no longer clears fields entered in customer and parameter tab. (10057)
