What’s New In This Release?
Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008 — ECi is loading Version 8.0.3 on your live ECinteractive® and is.D-Force® 2 Web servers tonight. The software load will take place between 9 PM CST TONIGHT and 6 AM CST Thursday, Nov. 6.
This release includes the following changes:
- Corrected the format of automated HTML emails to use the dealer's logo. In 8.0.0, the ECinteractive logo was being displayed in automated order, approval, and payment confirmation messages to customers. (8831)
- Corrected the end user's Pay Invoices page so when selecting the plus sign (+) to expand the invoice information, the system displays all the line items for the selected invoice. (8188)
- Corrected the Order Approval page so when the order is denied, the order's email confirmation does not indicate that the order has been approved and has been submitted for fulfillment. (8842)
- Corrected so when adding substitute items from the Enhanced Search page while using United's SmartSearch Enhanced Web Content feature, the system does not add the item to the cart with a zero selling price. The system also does not display an Invalid Item error message when the user opens the Checkout page. (8839)
This list is not exhaustive. For information about all changes in version 8.0.1, see Program Updates

How do I Set Up My "Down For Maintenance" Page?
Your Web storefront will be unavailable during server maintenance. You can schedule your site to be Offline for Maintenance by following these simple steps:
- Log into your ECinteractive site's Administrative Control Panel.
- (Optional) Click Site News, and then click Page Editor. Create or edit a Scheduled Maintenance page to include some text that will encourage your customers to log off before your scheduled maintenance period begins, so their work will be cached properly.
- Click Global Settings, and then click Site Maintenance.
- In the Automatic Scheduled Maintenance box, make a note of your existing settings so you can return to them later.
- Enter the appropriate times in the Time Off and Time On boxes, in the format HH:MM AM or PM, for Weekday only. Adjust Weekend if necessary.
- (Optional) Select your Scheduled Maintenance page, for Weekday only. Adjust Weekend if necessary.
- Click the Auto Maintenance Mode On button. At the Are You Sure message, check your time settings. If they are correct, click OK.
- Click the Update button. The changes are implemented within one minute.
After the software update is complete, you may wish to return to these settings, and simply adjust the time off and on settings, so that the system does not unnecessarily notify users that your site is down for maintenance.
