Announcing Version 8.5.1 of Dealer Station, is.D-Force, and Distributor Station

Friday, Nov. 14, 2008 — ECI DDMS is loading Version 8.5.1 of Dealer Station®, is.D-Force, and Distributor Station® Maytech Edition onto your live Web servers this weekend — between 9 PM CST tonight, and 6 AM CST Monday, Nov. 17.

What's New In This Release?

This release includes the following changes, pending final testing Friday afternoon:

  • Enhanced Product Detail so that Quantity on Hand displays for sites set up to view S.P. Richards Enhanced Content, as it does for standard content. (3712)
  • Corrected the Admin Control Panel's punchout Invoice logic for sites to process all of the "dash tickets" regardless of the order they are sent. "Dash tickets" are typically -1 amendments or additions to the original order, where ticket ID ends with -0. (3713)
  • Corrected the Contracts logic so that punchout customers can open their contracts or laundry lists without generating an Error 3. (3735)

How do I Set Up My "Down For Maintenance" Page?

Your Web storefront will be unavailable during these maintenance periods. You can schedule your site to be Offline for Maintenance by following these simple steps:

  1. Log into your site's Administrative Control Panel, and click Automatic.
  2. In the Automatically Shut Site Off for Maintenance box, enter the time to go offline, using a 24-hour clock.
  3. Note: All server times are now Central Standard Time. For example, if you wish to turn off the site at 8:30 PM Eastern, add 12 hours for PM and type 20:30.

  4. In the Automatically Turn Site Back On, enter the time to go back online.
  5. Click Update Site Status.
  6. Under Site Text, you can customize the Down for Maintenance message that will display at the top of the window and that your customers see if they login during the maintenance period.

For detailed instructions on scheduling site maintenance in Dealer Station or is.D-Force, see Chapter 1 of your Admin Manual.

We hope this information is helpful!

Sincerely,
