What’s New In This Release?

Sept. 15, 2009 — The ECi DDMS Version 8.19.60 maintenance release is available now for software download via the ECi Customer Support Portal (https://support.ecisolutions.com).

Changes in This Release:

This maintenance release addresses the following issues:

  • Corrected the version of EBS Server installed. In DDMS 8.19.40, an older version resulted in timeouts in SQL applications such as Customer Price Plans, SQL Report Preview, Project Management, and so on, mentioned in release notes for 8.19.40. (55942)
  • Enhanced the GOA gateway packet communications in tandem with ECinteractive issue #9868, to avoid truncating long concatenated item numbers entered in Quick Search or Quick Order. Packet 295 has been expanded to 22 characters to work like Packet 10 for getting item information, which was enhanced to accept an item number up to 23 characters. Packet 290 for QuickSearch accepts a prefix or company of 0 to 8 characters, plus an item number of 0 to 15 characters. (55900, 55454)
  • Corrected TBLNetCom so that an ECinteractive order more than 33 items or 1000 characters no longer results in an unhandled exception error. New TBLNetCom v2.25.0 is released. (DDMS #55687, ECinteractive #10015)
  • Enhanced Utility Extensions to allow credit card transactions to remain compatible with updates from PayPal's Payflow Pro, and avoid failure in payment transactions among dealers who use VeriSign. New UtilExt 3.30 is released. (55891)
