Sept. 2, 2009 — The ECi DDMS Version 8.19.40 maintenance release is available now for software download via the ECi Customer Support Portal (https://support.ecisolutions.com).

Changes in This Release:

This maintenance release addresses the following issues:

  • Corrected F6 in Furniture Order Entry to write new tax district to P-GLOBAL instead of the old master tax district. (55875)
  • Corrected Promotions so discount off next order applies as expected (55849),
  • Corrected Furniture Order Entry Change Mode so that items added no longer lose their sell price when the system reprices third party billing. (55842)
  • Corrected Order Entry logic for crediting the actual total even when promotional discounting is involved. Previously, the system was crediting the undiscounted total. (55773)
  • Corrected Machine Order Entry so that trading in a machine with accessories will return the machine and its accessories to the SERIAL customer. In 8.19, the last accessory item number changed incorrectly to that of the machine, but this is fixed now. (55763)
  • Corrected the Furniture Delivery/Install Scheduling screen to include "Other Fields" in the limits screen, consistent with Project Management limits. (55665)
  • Corrected Print Preview in Work in Progress to display the yellow total lines showing amounts, locations, and so on as they appear on the WIP screen.(55555)
  • Corrected the Item Tax District function so that if a user inadvertently adds an item tax district with an existing ID, the duplicate record is not allowed in C-TAX-ID. The user is prompted that the ID is a duplicate, and taken back to the field to correct it. (55281)

IMPORTANT: The ECI Customer Support Portal's page of Software Downloads is the primary method of delivery for all DDMS software. This has become effective June 24 with the release of both DDMS 8.19 and the O/PUS 3rd Quarter Multi-Vendor Catalog Update.

Portal SigninIt's easy to register if you haven't already. To log in, download and run the latest DDMS software update:

  1. Go to https://support.ecisolutions.com.
  2. Just enter your unique email address. If you already have a password, enter it and click Submit. If you don't have your password or have forgotten it, check the box for a temporary password, and click Submit.

    On the login page, you can view a 10-minute video guided tour to introduce you to using the ECi Customer Support Portal. There's also a new 2-minute video on using Software Downloads.

    1. If your email address is associated with a customer account in our system, you'll receive a temporary password. If not, we may contact you to verify your account.
    2. Once you receive your temporary password, you can log in.
    3. Change your password as prompted.
  3. Click Software Downloads, click DDMS and follow the on-screen steps.

If you would like a copy of this software update on CD-ROM, we will be happy to ship it to you via United Parcel Service (UPS) Ground.
