July 21, 2009 — The ECi DDMS Version 8.19.20 maintenance release is available now for software download via the ECi Customer Support Portal (https://support.ECiSolutions.com).

Promotions in SQL Preview Reports

In this release, SQL Preview Reports has been updated to display Promotions data. If you have set up coupon codes in the DDMS Databases > Promotions window, and your ECinteractive or is.D-Force 2 customers have used those promo codes at checkout, the promotion line items will show up in selected SQL reports (QC #55669). For detailed instructions on setting up coupon codes and how it affects your flow and reporting, see Using Promotions and Coupon Codes in DDMS (pdf).

Note: DDMS Commercial Order Entry does not currently accept Promo codes set up in the Promotions Window. Enhancements to Order Entry are required to allow coupons, and are in queue for a future release of DDMS. We will notify DDMS customers via email when it is available.

Other Changes in This Release:

  • Corrected the GOA gateway interface so that ECinteractive properly displays the expiration date and the last four digits of the credit card number. (55694)
  • Corrected the installation of CardLink so that running a credit card does not result in UtilExt closing. (#55719)
  • Corrected Purchase Order Entry to save order notes (specials) and properly write to the P/O and to P/O History. This issue is related to a correction (#55377) previously released in DDMS 8.19, and both issues are now corrected.(#55731)
  • Corrected an issue with items not flushing to the ticket after the purchase order has been final received and flushed with the (TR-G) action. (#55650)
  • Corrected an issue with Herman Miller purchase order transmissions so that end customer information includes the correct customer dept billto address. Previously, it was pulling the master account billto address. (#55276)
  • Corrected graphical Machine Order Entry so that running a Final Complete and Bill on a backordered work order does not result in a timeout, and instead sets the call type to Waiting on Parts and creates the back-ordered workorder P-SPECIAL line as it works in text-based. (#55718)

IMPORTANT: The ECI Customer Support Portal's page of Software Downloads is the primary method of delivery for all DDMS software. This has become effective June 24 with the release of both DDMS 8.19 and the O/PUS 3rd Quarter Multi-Vendor Catalog Update.

Portal SigninIt's easy to register if you haven't already. To log in, download and run the latest DDMS software update:

  1. Go to https://support.ECiSolutions.com.
  2. Just enter your unique email address. If you already have a password, enter it and click Submit. If you don't have your password or have forgotten it, check the box for a temporary password, and click Submit.

    On the login page, you can view a 10-minute video guided tour to introduce you to using the ECi Customer Support Portal. There's also a new 2-minute video on using Software Downloads.

    1. If your email address is associated with a customer account in our system, you'll receive a temporary password. If not, we may contact you to verify your account.
    2. Once you receive your temporary password, you can log in.
    3. Change your password as prompted.
  3. Click Software Downloads, click DDMS and follow the on-screen steps.
