What’s New In This Release?

DDMS Version 8.14.43 is available on request as of Wednesday, April 23, 2008. This maintenance release addresses the following software issues:

For all dealers:

  • A/R Post/Change Tab. Corrected so a Type Mismatch error is no longer generated when adding multiple new postings to Accounts Receivable. (53927)

For furniture dealers:

  • P/O Communicate for Herman Miller Kiosk. Corrected the format of the Herman Miller electronic purchase order file so that when you build the P/O, the Kiosk is able to process it. (54094)
  • New Flag Required for Furniture Quotes-Only Salesperson. If you have a salesperson set up just to enter, change, and delete furniture quotes in Order Entry, you must update their Allowable Functions to select Furniture O/E. If you do not make this update, they will default to Commercial O/E, not Furniture O/E. Follow these steps: First, in the Salesperson database window, select the salesperson, and click the View Allowable Functions. Under Programs, select Order Entry. If anything to do with quotes is selected (such as QuoteOE, ModifyQuote, or DeleteQuote), click FurnitureOE as well, as shown in the figure below. (54054)

If your company has reported one or more software issues, you automatically receive the software update that provides a resolution. As we announce the release, we are in the process of shipping your software update to affected dealers via United Parcel Service (UPS).

If your company did not report any issue specifically resolved with this release, you will not automatically receive the software update. However, a software update is available to you upon request.
