What’s New In This Release?

DDMS® Version 8.13.44 is available on request as of Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008. This maintenance release addresses a number of design changes, minor enhancements, and software issues. Here are some highlights:

For all dealers:

• Corrected the dot matrix printer report format so that printing the 1099 Tax Form for multiple contract vendors no longer allows the printout to creep up a line on successive pages. (53633)
• Corrected the W-2/W-3 Payroll report format so the W-3 record, printed at the end of the W-2 Tax Withholding forms, are properly aligned. Previously, the employer information was printing too high on the IRS form. (53636)

For furniture dealers:

• Corrected Furniture Order Entry so that the Verify partial ship function properly advance the status of all lines after the split, which previously remained at status 7. (53590)
• Corrected Furniture Order Entry Receiving so that if you have the (LG6) parameters set to skip zero cost or skip zero price on serialized orders, using the Change function to Receive the order will properly receive all items. In Version 8.13.1, only the first and last lines were being received. (53606)
• Corrected an Accounts Receivable Deposit report for a Customer, so that it no longer displays duplicate deposits per invoice. (53251)
• Corrected the format of XML data being sent when transmitting purchase orders to Allsteel, eliminating carriage returns and line feeds that prevented Allsteel's e-Ordering shopping cart from being able to populate order and item details properly in DDMS 8.13. (53216)

How do I get this version?

If your company has reported one or more software issues, you automatically receive the software update that provides a resolution. As we announce the release, we are in the process of shipping your software update to affected dealers via United Parcel Service (UPS).

If your company did not report any issue specifically resolved with this release, you will not automatically receive the software update. However, a software update is available to you upon request.

If you want to take advantage of the software changes in this maintenance release, we will be happy to ship it to you via United Parcel Service (UPS) Ground.
