What’s New In This Release?

ECi is loading Version 7.3 of ECinteractive® and is.D-Force® 2 onto production Web servers tonight — Friday, August 31, 2007 — between 10 PM and 6 AM Eastern Time.

Note: Production Web sites for the ECinteractive family of products will be unavailable during the software update period. If you are live on the ECinteractive platform, and wish to inform visitors that your site will be offline during the software update Friday night, we recommend editing your Site News (Page Editor and Site Text). You can even save a page to use as a template for future use.

Version 7.3 includes the following enhancements:

Edit Budgets: End users can create and edit monthly budgets on one screen.
Framed Site Layout: This will allow dealers to frame the ECinteractive storefront site within their company’s existing domain/Web site. For a resolution to possible issues with users unable to log into your framed site in Internet Explorer 7, see the FAQ on Using Specific ECinteractive Features.
System Down for Maintenance: Dealers will have the ability to turn the site off automatically when their system needs to be shut down for maintenance.
Order Status Per User (My Account): Replacing the My Order box, the redesigned My Account box displays the number of orders in saved carts, the number of orders pending approval (if applicable), and an Order History link.
Assign Contract/Laundry List By User: Adds the ability for dealers to assign a contract or laundry list to a specific user.
Customer Parameter Maintenance: Dealers can modify customer parameters by account, departments or selected users.
SPR Enhanced E-content: Version 7.3 supports S.P. Richards' new Enhanced E-content. Benefits include rich media content (360-degree revolving images, manufacturer rebates, warranties, users manuals, and more), plus a product comparison tool.
