ECI2 Loads ECinteractive 7.1.0 Friday Night

Dear ECinteractive customers:
ECi will load ECinteractive® Version 7.1.0 onto our Web servers this Friday night, June 22, 2007, between 10 PM and 6 AM Eastern Time.
Note: Affected Web sites will be unavailable during the software update period. If you wish to inform visitors that your site will be offline during the software update Friday night, we recommend editing your Site News (Page Editor and Site Text). You can even save a page to use as a template for future use.
ACTION REQUIRED DDMS® Version 8.12 is required to implement the Integrated Volume Discounts feature. If you have not already installed DDMS 8.12, please send a software update request in reference to QC #51948 to ECi Technical Support. For more information, see Release Notes.
ECinteractive 7.1.0 includes the following enhancements:
- Integrated Volume Discounts: Additional volume discount features found in DDMS are now integrated with online storefronts. The dealer now has one central place to manage promotional items and volume discounts.
- Promotion Status Page: One way to encourage larger orders and/or monthly sales is to allow end users to see their status on earning promotional items or discounts. The Promotion Status page displays all the marketing tools that end users can take advantage of, based on monthly or order totals, and how much more they need to order to qualify for additional items or discounts. In Site Text, dealers can customize the link to and the introduction for the Promotion Status page.
- Online Sales Reporting: This will provide a quick reporting tool for dealer administrators to view their sites' sales. Quick View listings will include Current Month (Total Number of Lines, Total Number of Orders, Total Order Dollars) and Last Month (Total Number of Lines, Total Number of Orders, Total Order Dollars).
