Rolls to Production Servers This Weekend

Dear ECinteractive and is.D-Force2 customers:

ECi will load ECinteractive® and is.D-Force2® Version 6.9 onto production servers this Friday through Sunday, April 20-22, 2007. These updates will be performed during evening hours between 10 PM and 6 AM Eastern Time over the weekend.

Note: Affected sites will be unavailable during these maintenance periods. If you wish to inform visitors that your site will be offline during the maintenance periods this weekend, we recommend editing your Site News (Page Editor and Site Text). You can even save a page to use as a template for future use.

Version 6.9 includes the following enhancements to your Web Storefront:

• Customers will be able to access contracts and laundry lists of frequently purchased items that have been set up in the back-end DDMS(tm) system. The Contract/Laundry List feature offers customers quick access to frequently purchased items as well as customer-specific contract items. Display of contract and laundry list items has been integrated into both the customer order screen and Quick Order for additional purchasing efficiency.
• Additional product-specific attributes and icons will be integrated into the advanced search function, offering a larger range of search specificity.
• The new Order Manager Service architecture significantly speeds up the customer checkout process, especially on larger volume orders. It eliminates the delays that sometimes occur while the Web site communicates with the back-end DDMS system to complete the order. The new application works completely in the background, queuing incoming orders from your Web storefront and submitting them to the back-end system for processing, providing much more efficient use of your system’s processing resources.
• Users will be able to view item-specific images for many products in the United Stationers and SP Richards catalogs. For example, the image for a blue Post-It(R) Note will actually show a blue Post-It(R) Note, rather than a generic yellow note or a rainbow set as in the past.

Version 6.9 also includes the following enhancements to your Admin Control Panel:

• Admin page hyperlink to your Web storefront
• Order Management admin page enhancements for status checks and detail drill-down
• User and Usage Reports of exportable detailed transaction history
• Migration of Dealer Station user data, including username, password, email address, rewards points, and favorites lists
