Dealer Station, is.D-Force Maintenance Release 5.3.15 TONIGHT

Date: Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2005

Dear Dealer Station and is.D-Force Customers:

We will load version 5.3.15 of Dealer Station® and is.D-Force® tonight (Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2005). We plan to begin the update process at 10:30 PM Eastern Time and anticipate completion by midnight ET.

Version 5.3.15 is a maintenance release that includes the following software corrections, pending final testing this afternoon:

  • Corrected response time issues when users change departments after login and when an administrator pulls up accounts with departments or uses the Departments List field.
  • Corrected an issue where the phone number assigned to a user account on the Dealer Station Admin site was not being passed properly to the DDMS backend at checkout.
  • Corrected a function that allowed Superusers to assign any shipping option to the users under their management. For example, a Superuser was given shipping options UPS Ground and No Shipping only, but he could also assign UPS Red and UPS Blue. Superusers are now properly restricted to assign shipping options that are available to themselves. In other words, users inherit the shipping option restrictions given to Superusers in the Admin site.
  • Corrected an error that would not allow administrators to turn off Approval Forwarding for a user account.
  • Corrected an error under Admin User Settings with Department List Default Display, where it would revert to sorting by department number even if you set it to sort by department name. You can now properly set Department Lists to sort by either name or number.
  • Corrected an error that occurred when attempting to edit a user account.
  • Corrected a function with the HP and Xstamper punchouts that failed to pass multiple order lines to the Cart when the user ordered the same item number more than once for different messages.

We hope this information is helpful!

Sincerely,
ECi Technical Support
