What's New in is.D-Force® 3.11

Date: Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2003

Dear is.D-Force Customer:

This message describes the new enhancements in is.D-Force® 3.11 and explains where to find documentation on how to use them.

You'll find the updated Setting Up is.D-Force® Admin Pages documentation on our Dealer Station Documentation page.

To view the documentation, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader version 4 or above. You can download it free from the Adobe Web site.

Version 3.11 offers the following enhancements:

Automated Site Maintenance Queuing. In addition to turning the site on and off for maintenance, you can schedule routine maintenance. To prevent rushing users, 15 minutes before maintenance begins, no new logins are allowed. Warning messages alert users 15, 10, five and one minute before the site goes offline. For more information, see "Chapter 1: Logging In and Out of is.D-Force" in the administrator guide, Setting Up is.D-Force Admin Pages.

New Order Status Levels. Detailed order and line item statuses match DDMS status codes. You can customize the status message your customer receives, for example, Your Order Has Been Processed. For more information, see "Chapter 2: Site Text" in the administrator guide, Setting Up is.D-Force Admin Pages. Dealers using RouteTrak™ have access to even more detailed information for delivered orders. This includes delivery receipts, customer signature, date and time of delivery, and so on.

Faster Product Search. Improved product search algorithms produce faster results.

Toggle is.group Pricing for Today’s Specials. The is.D-Force calculations for Today’s Specials have always used is.group pricing. However, now you can use your default DDMS pricing instead. For more information, see "Chapter 5: Site Preferences" in the administrator guide, Setting Up is.D-Force Admin Pages.

We hope that you find the new features in is.D-Force 3.11 beneficial in growing your e-commerce business.

Sincerely,
ECi Customer Service
