Disabling TblNetCom Console and UtilExt Console in DDMS 8.15

Some dealers have reported that after loading the DDMS 8.15 software update, TBL Server appears to be running in multiple instances on their Start bar. This appears only if you have the console set up to display for TBL NetComm or UtilExt

If this issue affects you, and you wish to disable the TBLNetComConsole and UtilExtConsole, please follow these steps:

  1. On your DDMS Server's Desktop, double-click TblConfig.
  2. Double-click Advanced to open up the subordinate list in the left-hand panel.
  3. Click Server Settings to display the records in the right-hand panel.
  4. The SettingFlag for both TblNetComConsole and UtilExtConsole should be FALSE, as shown below.

    • If they are set to False, you may exit TblConfig. If you still have three instances of TBL Server running in your Start Bar, contact Support.
    • If they are set to true, follow these steps:
      1. Right-click the SettingName (TblNetComConsole or UtilExtConsole), and select Modify.
      2. In the Server Settings dialog box, uncheck the Flag T/F checkbox as shown below, and click OK.

      3. Repeat steps 1-2 as needed for TblNetComConsole or UtilExtConsole.
      4. You may exit TblConfig.
