DDMS Purged Prorated A/R Deposits Issue

Version 8.14.41 is available upon request to resolve this issue.
Tuesday, March 11, 2008 —We are issuing a DDMS maintenance release version 8.14.40 in late March 2008 to resolve an issue with purging A/R Deposits that affects dealers who:
- Loaded Versions 8.13.44 - 8.14.0.
- Have the Prorate Deposit Amount Across Dash Numbers field in the (LA5) Deposit Parameters screen set to Y.
If your DDMS system is operating under these conditions, do not run the (OR-E) function to purge deposits for now. Request a software update in reference to QC#53835 online at https://support.ECiSolutions.com or by contacting your technical support team.
If you are an affected dealer, and have run the (OR-E) function to purge deposits, the P-DEPOSIT records may have been lost for your last account with a posted deposit. The P-DEPOSIT records for the last account deposited were not copied to the new P-DEPOSIT file, nor copied to the new JO-P-DEPOSIT file, nor printed on the purge report, nor updating/deleting the P-TOTDEP record.
You may be able restore data prior to purging. For assistance, please contact your technical support team.
Meanwhile, we recommend that you do not purge deposits in Version 8.13.44 - 8.14.0 until you have loaded 8.14.40 or higher.
