Request Shipment of OPdb® via CD-ROM
Effective since the first quarter of 2005, O/PUS distributes
the OPdb Multi-Vendor Catalog update file via the O/PUS PSN
service.
We realize that not all dealers have Internet access or meet
the requirements for PSN. (Your DDMS Server must be running Microsoft® Windows® 2000 or 2003, a
broadband Internet connection, Ensite Pro™ Version 6.1.102 or above, an active
O/PUS PSN account, and PSNControl Version 1.0.145 or above. Note: Although the minimum requirement for O/PUS SIMPLE is Version 6.1.102 or above,
the OPUSInstall program runs best on TBL Server 6.03, which was first available
in the General Release of Ensite Pro Version 7.4.0.)
O/PUS will continue shipping the
OPdb CD-ROMs to dealers who request them. We charge $75 for OPdb files on CD-ROM. However, we must
receive your shipment request for quarterly CD-ROM
no later than the 20th of the month prior to the beginning of the quarter (For example, March 20th, June 20th, September 20th, and December 20th). Any requests received after the deadline will take an additional three to five business days to duplicate, package, and ship individually.
One exception is dealers with UNIX-based servers, who will receive instructions to download via FTP. If you have a UNIX-based server, you do not need to request
shipment of your update.
To request shipment of the current quarter's OPdb CD-ROM,
choose one of two available methods:
- Fill out the online form below.
- Email O/PUS at opus@eci2.com with your request to ship the OPdb file via CD-ROM. Include
your DDMS account number, company name, contact name, shipping
address, phone number with area code, and phone extension,
if applicable.
IMPORTANT: If you previously requested the OPdb CD, you must RENEW your request to authorize the service charge for the current quarter. This policy is in force to protect the growing number of dealers who have acted to meet the minimum PSN requirements since the previous quarter.
However, if you no longer wish to receive a shipment of your CD-ROM in favor of downloading via the PSN, please email O/PUS.
Account Must Be Current to Expedite Your O/PUS Shipment
As a reminder, if you have not signed up for the O/PUS service, please contact Trade Service immediately (1-800-701-7003) to avoid a delay in receiving your April update.
Your Trade Service account must be current before we can release the current quarter's update to you.
