Parameters documentation provides detailed information about every option in your DDMS parameters screens, whether you're getting ready to go live, or getting ready to communicate with a new wholesaler, updating your shipping manifests and route settings, or implementing a new feature or module.

To view Parameters Documentation, you have several options:

• View the PDF Published on DDMS.com. Some users prefer to view the PDF online. However, if you have trouble finding the global Search icon, you may need to install a different version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
• Use Your DDMS System's Online Help. Your system's Help applies specificially to the version of DDMS software you have installed.
• Use the Online Help Published on DDMS.com. Our Web site features Help for the latest released version of DDMS software.
• Download and Install the PDF on Your System. Some users prefer the PDF version for the ability to print multiple sections at once and refer to a specific page. If you've installed Adobe Acrobat Reader 4, the downloadable PDF allows you to search the entire Parameters manual.

Use Your DDMS System's Online Help

If you have installed DDMS Version 6 or higher, the Parameters Documentation is included in the Online Help already on your DDMS system:

1. In the DDMS main menu, click Help on the menu bar, and select Contents.
2. Double-click Keyop Menu.
3. Double-click Parameters.

To view the Parameters Online Help, follow these steps:

1. Click here to view Help online (opens new window).
2. Click Keyop Menu.
3. Click Parameters.

Download and Install the PDF on Your System.

The Parameters PDF document files have been compressed into a ZIP file so they download faster and in one unit. You must use a compression utility program to extract the PDF documents that are packaged inside. To download, extract, and view the Parameters Documentation in PDF, follow these steps:

1. Right-click this link, parameters.zip, and select Save Target As...
   (Do not select Open or any other option).
2. Specify the location where you want to place the software update file. Select or create a folder such as c:\Downloads\.
3. Click OK.
4. When your downloading is complete, open the folder where you downloaded the file.
5. Double-click the parameters.zip icon.
6. If an error occurs or Windows asks you to select a program, click Cancel. You must install compression software. We can recommend three (prices are subject to change):
   • WinZip
   • PKZIP
   • ZIPGenius (The instructions below are for the freeware version of ZipGenius 1.4.)
7. In ZipGenius, click the Extract button.
8. At Settings, select All Files.
9. Place checkmarks beside Use Stored Paths, Open Destination Folder, and Close ZipGenius.
10. At Destination, click Browse.
11. Choose the folder you wish to place the files, such as c:\Downloads\Parameters\
12. Click OK to close the Browse window.
13. Click Extract.
14. If prompted about a file that already exists, click Yes to overwrite it.
15. When the Destination folder opens, double-click the title.pdf icon. This will open the table of contents.
