Using the Customer Query Dialog Box
You can also use the customer query dialog box to search for a customer. Use the following instructions:

Click
to open the Customer Query dialog box. The Name box at the top of the dialog box contains highlighted
information. The first eight customers in the database are displayed.
2 Find the correct customer by either scrolling up and down the list or by using the query feature.
You
can scroll through the customer database. As you scroll up and down, additional accounts are displayed
for you to view. When the correct customer is displayed, highlight the customer by clicking it.
To
use the query feature, type the customer ID, department, department description, name, or phone number
in the appropriate box at the top of the dialog box and press Enter. The customer you specified or the
one that most closely matches it, displays at the top of the Customer Query dialog box.
3 When the customer you want is highlighted, click OK, double click the highlighted customer, or press the Enter key.
