Preparing for Summary Billing


To use the summary billing feature, you must first complete the summary billing parameters in the (LB) Summary Billing Parameters screen.

 

You set up each summary billing customer in the Summary Billing boxes in the Customer Credit tab. In the Summary Freq box, you can specify whether you want to bill the customer weekly, biweekly, or monthly.

 

If you bill the customer biweekly, you specify the two days of the month on which you want to send the summary bill. If you bill the customer weekly or monthly, each bill date automatically calculates from the last date the customer was billed. When you first set up the customer for summary billing, you specify the first date you want the customer billed in the Next Date box. After that billing, the next bill date automatically calculates.
