About the Order Entry Tab
You use the Order Entry tab to enter information that determines how orders for the customer are processed in order entry.
You can:
Indicate
whether the customer accepts backorders
Set
up the customer's pricing information.
Assign
each customer up to four different contracts for calculating the suggested selling price for an item.
Specify
if you want to give the customer a discount and which type.
Because eNsite is so flexible, you can set up a customer's pricing in many different ways. To help you understand the various pricing strategies and determine the ones that work best for your business, see Understanding Basic Customer Pricing Options and Understanding Additional Customer Pricing Options.
Since the boxes in the Order Entry tab control the pricing you give each customer, these boxes have a dramatic influence on your business and your profits. For this reason, we recommend that you carefully consider these boxes and their impact on your customers. We also strongly recommend that you complete these boxes before going live. For detailed information concerning each box in the Order Entry tab, see In the Customer Order Entry Tab.
