Printing Standard Customer Reports
Printing Customer Address Labels
You can print customer address labels from the (NR) Customer Reports screen.
In the (NR) Customer Reports screen, select the [M] Labels type code.
The cursor moves to the Labels Across field. Press Tab to accept the default, 1, or enter the number of labels to print on each horizontal row.
The cursor moves to the B/S field. In this field, you specify whether to print the customer billing address or the customer shipping address. Type B for the billing address. Type S to print the shipping address.
In the Align field, specify whether to print one label only so that you can check the alignment of the labels. Go to Step 9.
If you specify N, the Format prompt appears. Specify whether to include the representative's name or the account number on the labels. To include the representative's name on the labels, type 1. To include the account number, type 2.
In the Forms field, specify the label size. To print 3 ½" x 15/16" labels, type 1. To print 3" X 15/16" labels, type 2. To use with a Cheshire machine, type 3.
The cursor moves to the Sort 1 field. Sorts determine how the labels print. To sort by customer name, press Enter. Go to Step 7.
You can specify up to three sorts for your report. To do this, enter the appropriate sort codes in the Sort 1, 2, and 3 fields. For example, to specify salesperson as the first sort, enter P in the Sort 1 field.
Note: Tab past the Break Page fields. These fields do not apply.
Use the Name field to set limits. Limits determine which records print on the report. To not set limits, press Enter, and go to Step 8.
Note: If you do not specify a range, all records in your customer database are included in the labels.
To set limits, enter the beginning range in the first field, and enter the ending range in the corresponding To field. Tab to the appropriate fields for each limit to set. You can set as many limits as you need. However, a record must meet all the requirements to be included.
At the Do You Wish Departmental Labels prompt, type Y to print labels for each department, as well as master accounts. To print labels for master accounts only, type N.
Complete the print line to print your labels.
