About Serialized Critical Parts Reports
When you select parts for replacement, the system adds the parts to the text of the call as text lines. After you complete the call and bill the service work order, the system prompts you to add each part to the work order in serialized order entry.
Projected meter reading and date boxes appear in the Machine Detail Critical Parts tab for this feature. These boxes, along with the last meter reading and date, are automatically updated by the system when you perform the (MA) Daily Backup Procedure at day's end.
The system bases these meter readings using the average or current monthly volume readings, depending on the setting in the Use Amv field in the (EZ1S) Serial System Parameters screen.
To use the critical analysis part feature for a machine, you must have a Critical Parts List set up for the machine in the In the Item Machine Defaults Consumables Tab.
The following reports help you use the critical parts analysis feature:
The Preventive Maintenance Report
The Projected Part Replacement Report
Note: Each of these reports can be printed through the (EZYP) Preventive Maintenance/Critical Parts screen. They include extended limiting and sorting capabilities and include extensive machine, customer, meter, and part information.
