Printing the Customer Hits Report
The Customer Hits Report lists customers who call frequently and can be used to spot service problems.
In the (EZY) screen, type H in the Report field.
In the Loc field, press Tab to include all locations, or limit the depreciation by specifying a specific location.
Use the Sort fields to specify how the report prints. You can accept the default sort by pressing Enter, or you can specify up the three different sorts.
To sort by system and subsystem number, press Enter and go to Step 5.
Type I to sort by item.
Type C to sort by customer name.
Type V to sort by vendor.
Type D to sort by date.
Type # to sort by type.
Type S to sort by serial number.
Type F to sort by frequency.
Type W to sort by order-writer number.
Type T to sort by technician.
Type ? to sort by code.
Type N to sort by system and subsystem numbers.
Use the Break field to specify whether to begin a new page for each new group within the first sort. Suppose that you specified vendor name as the first sort. If you set this field to Y, each new vendor name begins on a new page. You can also print a subtotal at the end of the first sort.
Type Y to begin a new page for each new group within the first sort.
Type N (default) to print without page breaks for each new group.
Type S to print a subtotal at the end of the sort (without a page break).
When the cursor moves to the Sys # field, you can begin setting limits for the report. Tab to the Log Date field in the History Selections record. Enter the beginning date in the Log Date field. Enter the ending date in the To field.
In the Suppress Sales field, press Enter. (This field and the Purge History field do not apply to this report.)
Use the Include History field to print call information, including text, on the report.
In the Format field, press Backspace.
The cursor moves to the Include History field. Type Y.
In the Format field, type H.
At the Sort By Color prompt, press Tab.
You can use the Incomplete Only field to limit the report by the number of times a customer called. In the Incomplete Only field:
Type 9 to limit the report to customers who called more than once. Callers are listed from the most frequent callers to the least frequent callers.
Type 4 to limit the report to customers who called four or more times.
In the Printer field, enter the name of the printer to use.
In the Copies field, enter the number of copies to print.
The cursor moves to the File field. This field defaults to the Z-AUX file. This file contains your current call history. Press Tab to accept the default file or enter a journal file for which to print call information, Z-JUN05, for example. (You can purge your old call history in the (EZY) screen. When you do, you are prompted to save the call history to a call journal file.)
In the Volume field, press Tab to accept the default volume serial, or enter the volume serial that contains the file you specified.
At the Are You Sure prompt, type Y. The report prints.
