Printing Standard Vendor Reports

Vendor mailing labels contain the following information:

  1. In the Report Type field in the (PR) Vendor Reports screen, type M.

  2. Use the Format field to specify the information to include on the label.

    To print labels with the contact's name, type 1. The contact name is set in the Contact box in the Vendor Remit To/Settings tab.

    To print labels with the phone number, press Enter.

  3. Use the size field to specify label size. To use labels that are 3 1/2" x 15/16", press Enter. To use labels that are 3" x 15/16", type 2.

  4. Use the Labels Across field to specify the number of labels that print on a row. You can specify from one to four labels.

  5. In the Alignment field, type Y to print a test label. Go to Step 6.

    Type N if you don't want to print a test label.

  6. The cursor moves to the Nbr From field. Use the From and To fields to define the vendor information to include on the report.

    To include information for all your vendors, press Enter. Go to Step 7.

    To specify a range, enter the beginning of the range to include on the report in the From field. If you do not completely fill the field, press Tab. Enter the end of the range to include on the report in the corresponding To field. If you do not completely fill the field, press Tab.

    Set as many limits as you need. A record must meet all limits, however, to be included on the report.

  7. Use the Nbr From and To fields to limit the report to a range of vendor numbers. Vendor numbers are set in the Vendor # box in the Vendor Master tab.

  8. Use the Name From and To fields to limit by vendor name. Vendor name is set in the Name box in the Vendor Master tab.

Note: You cannot limit by both vendor number and vendor name.

  1. Use the Terms From and To fields to limit by vendor payment term codes.

  2. Use the Code From and To fields to limit by vendor code. Vendor codes are used to group similar vendors. They are also used to exclude vendors from certain applications. Vendor codes are set in the Code box in the Vendor Master tab.

  3. To limit the report to vendors with discounts, type Y in the With Discounts field. To omit vendors with discounts, type N. Vendor discounts are set in the Discount % box in the Vendor Master tab.

  4. To limit the report to vendors with auto pay, type Y in the With Auto Pay field. To omit auto pay vendors, type N. Auto pay is set in the Vendor Account Status tab.

  5. The Dates O/P field and the From and To fields work together. Use the Dates O/P field to specify whether you want to limit by order date or payment date. The last order and last payment dates are set in the Vendor Account Status tab. To limit the report using the last order date, type O. To limit using the last payment date, type P. Use the From and To fields to specify the beginning and ending dates.

  6. Use the Outstanding Balance From $ and To $ fields to limit the report by outstanding balance. The outstanding balance appears in the Balance box in the Vendor Account Status tab.

  7. Use the Month To Date Paid From $ and To $ fields to limit the report to a range of month-to-date paid balances. This figure appears in the MTD Total box in the Vendor Account Status tab.

  8. Use the Year To Date Paid From $ and To $ fields to limit the report to a range of year-to-date paid balances. This figure appears in the YTD Total box in the Vendor Account Status tab.

  9. Use the Last Year Paid From $ and To $ fields to limit the report to a range of balances paid last year. This figure appears in the Last Year Total box in the Vendor Account Status tab.

  1. Use the Printer field to specify the logical name of the printer to use.

  2. Use the Copies field to specify the number of copies to print.

  3. In the Totals Only field, press Tab. This field does not apply.

    The labels print.
