Printing Custom Accounts Receivable Reports
Printing Statements (Custom)
Statements show the current account balance for each customer. Statements can also include finance charges. However, before you can print statements with finance charges, you must calculate them. See Calculating Finance Charges (Custom).
You must also set parameters for statements before you print them. These parameters are set through the (LA2) A/R Parameters and (LG8) Additional Point of Sale Parameters screens. They let you customize statements by indicating the information you want them to include.
You can print statements in four formats: Plain Stubless Statement, Brannon's 9.5x11, Brannon's 8.5x11, and Ennis Stub Statement. All but the first of these print on statement forms with detachable stubs. The stub can be returned with the payment and includes customer information, the invoice balance, and total due.
Note: Print statements with stubs at 12 characters per inch (cpi). Print all other statements at 10 characters per inch. You can set many printers to 12 cpi through the menus on their front panels. (See the manual that came with your printer to determine how to set it to 12 cpi.)
In the (O) Accounts Receivable Selectors screen, type 08 in the Selector field.
At the Do You Wish To Change All prompt, type E to print the report as is.
Type P to make changes to the print line. See Changing the A/R Print Line.
Type A to make changes to the body of the report. See Changing the Body of an A/R Report.
