About Inventory Reports
Inventory reports can include information about each item in your inventory. Inventory reports are printed through the (R) Inventory Selectors screen and the (RR) Inventory Reports screen.
The (R) screen uses the Report Writer format, which offers you the greatest power and flexibility. Using this format, your reports can include any piece of inventory information. The (RR) screen lets you request standard inventory reports and labels using preset options.
Requesting reports through the (RR) screen is quick and easy. Using the (R) screen, however, you can customize a report to suit your needs and save it. Once these custom reports are set up, you can request them with only three or four keystrokes.

The Low-Stock Wholesaler Report-Cycle suggests an order amount for each inventory item based on sales history and cycle weeks (the length of time between purchase orders). This report bases suggested order quantities on the sales history of an item and the projected number of weeks between orders (cycle).
The Low-Stock Wholesaler Report-Min/Max shows you what items are at or below your minimum, and what you need to order to bring the stock level up to the maximum (if you are using Mins and Maxes to help you stock your warehouse). On-hand, on-order, and backordered quantities are compared to determine if you go below your minimum. If so, it recommends that you order enough to reach your maximum. You can print this report through the (R) and (RR) screens.
The Inventory Extended Dollars Report shows an extended total of the merchandise you currently have on-hand, as well as how much you can anticipate paying for items on-order. This report gives dollar amounts for each item in the following categories: on-order, on-hand, backordered, and allocated. The report is sorted by item number and company. When printing extended dollar reports from the (RR) Inventory Reports screen, you can base report information on several cost figures. You can choose from the following cost options: A=Average cost, D=Manufacturer's current replacement cost, R=Wholesaler's current replacement cost, P=List price.
When printing the Inventory Extended Dollars Report from the (R) Inventory Selectors screen, you can select the cost you want to display on the report, and you can catalog the changed report to instantly execute at any time. The Dpt Pricing field in the (R) screen determines how total costs are calculated for the departments in this report. You can select from the following options: M=The replacement cost from the direct buy source is used, W=The replacement cost from the wholesaler is used, or P=The average landed cost is used.
You can also print reports for Item Aliases, Inventory Usage, Contracts and Catalogs from the (R) screen.
