Going Live on the Automated Short-Buy

To print P/Os and the Automated Short-Buy Exceptions Report:

  1. In the DDMS Master Menu, double-click graphics\KEYOPMENUICON16.gif.

  2. In the Keyop Menu, double-click graphics\PARAMETERS_ICON16.gif.

  3. In the Parameter Editor window, click Text Base Parameters.

  4. In the (L) Parameters screen, type F in the Selection Code field.

  5. In the (LF) Purchase Order Parameters screen, type A in the Action field.

  6. In the (LFA) Automated Short-Buy Menu screen, type 1 in the Selection Code field.

  7. In the (LFA1) screen, type C in the Action field.

  8. In the Call Number field, enter the call number to create or change. You can press Tab to accept the default, call number 1. If you enter a one-digit call number, press Tab. The first (LFA1) subscreen opens.

  9. Press Enter until the second (LFA1) subscreen opens. Tab to the Print Options fields at the bottom of the screen.

  10. In the Print Options P/Os field, type Y.

  11. In the Printer field, enter the logical name of the printer to use.

  12. In the Exceptions field, type Y.

  13. In the Printer field, enter the logical name of the printer to use.

  14. Press Return until the cursor returns to the Action field in the (LFA1) screen.
