Practicing the Automated Short-Buy

When you actively use the automated short-buy, the system clears the Status field in the (LFA2) Short-Buy Launcher screen every night at midnight. However, when you practice the automated short-buy, you have to clear the Status field yourself.

  1. In the Ensite Pro Master Menu, double-click graphics\KEYOPMENUICON16.gif.

  2. In the Keyop Menu, double-click graphics\PARAMETERS_ICON16.gif.

  3. In the Parameter Editor window, click Text Base Parameters.

  4. In the (L) Parameters screen, type F in the Selection Code field. The (LF) Purchase Order Parameters screen opens

  5. Type A in the Action field. The (LFA) Automated Short-Buy Menu screen opens.

  6. In the Selection Code field, type 2. The (LFA2) screen opens.

  7. In the Action, type S.

  8. In the Location field, enter the general ledger location, or press Tab to accept the default.

  9. At the Enter Number of Status to Clear prompt, enter the line number to clear.

  10. The line's details appear. At the Are You Sure prompt, type Y.

  11. The cursor returns to the Action field.
