Setting Parameters

  1. Double-click graphics\KEYOPMENUICON16.gif.

  2. From the Keyop Menu, double-click graphics\PARAMETERS_ICON16.gif.

  3. In the Parameter Editor window, double-click Text Base Parameters.

  4. The (L) Parameters screen opens. Select the [6] Vendor & Wholesale Communications action code.

  5. In the (L6) screen, select the [W] AT&T action code.

  6. The (L6W) EDI Network Communications Parameters screen opens. Enter the code corresponding to the wholesaler.

    Type A for AT&T GMS Network.

    Type B for AT&T IMS Network.

  1. The system displays the parameter screen you specified, and the cursor moves to the Hayes Type field. Enter the appropriate responses in each of the fields in this screen. For a description of the fields, see In the (L6W) Screen. Use the following instructions for cursor movement in this screen:

    To move the cursor ahead one field, press Tab.
    To clear a field, press the Spacebar, and then press Tab.
    To move the cursor back one field, press Backspace.

  2. When you finish changing parameters in this screen, press Enter until the cursor returns to the action code field. If you press Esc before the cursor moves through all the fields in this screen, the system does not save your changes.
