Serialized Parameters

You can use these codes to set up meter descriptions. You must set up meter code descriptions to use the BEI Services feature. The system uses the descriptions you specify when creating the data to transfer to BEI Services. For more information, see About Compiling Data for Business Equipment Information Services.

  1. To set up return reasons, double-click Serialized.

  2. Click Meter Code Descriptions.

  3. The Meter Description boxes open. Use these text boxes to enter descriptions for up to 9 meters.

  4. Serialized now appears in bold in the Parameter Editor window. Click SAVE-SMALL16.gif to save your changes or when you exit the Parameters screens, you are prompted to save your changes.

Note: To abandon all changes, click UNDO.gif. It lets you restore the previously saved version without exiting the Parameter Editor window.
