In the (L8P) Screen
You can use the (L8P) Picking Manifest Parameters screen to customize the picking manifest application to best suit the needs of your business.
In this screen, you can set the limits and sorts that you use most often. These settings are the defaults when you are creating a picking manifest. When you create the picking manifest, you simply press Enter to accept the defaults and the picking manifest prints. But, if you ever need to run the picking manifest differently, you don’t have to go to the parameter screen and change the settings. You can make a one time change when you create the manifest. For example, you may normally pick only completely shipped orders throughout the day. Then at the end of the day, you may pick the orders that are partially shipped. In this case, you would set the parameters so that only completely shipped orders print on the manifest. These are the settings you use most often. Then, you can print the manifest for partially shipped orders by simply changing the setting when you create the manifest.
In most cases, preset options are provided for location 1 when you receive the DDMS system. However, there are no preset options in the (L8P) screen. To use the options in these screens, you must complete these fields.
