Setting Screen Passwords

  1. Double-click graphics\KEYOPMENUICON16.gif.

  2. From the Keyop Menu, double-click graphics\PROGRAM_SECURITY_ICON16.gif. The (X) Program Security screen opens.

  3. If a Master password is set, the system displays the (X) screen with all fields blank, and the cursor is in the Master Password field. Enter the Master password. If the password is fewer than six characters, press Enter. If you do not enter it correctly, the cursor returns to the Master Menu.

  4. When you enter the correct Master password, or if no Master password is set, the system displays the passwords assigned in this screen and the cursor moves to the Update column for the A Cust field. Press Tab to move the cursor to each password to change or delete. To change the password, enter the new password over the old one. To delete the password, space through the field.

  5. When you finish changing or deleting the screen and function passwords, press Enter. If you changed or deleted the password in the F7 field, you do not need to press Enter.

  6. The cursor moves to the Master Password field. At this point, you can change the Master password, save your changes to the passwords, or return to the Master Menu without saving your changes.
