Selecting an Item

Using the Catalog Explorer in the Item Query Dialog Box

1. Click Catalog Search in the Item Query dialog box. The Catalog Explorer dialog box opens.

2. Click a catalog name in the Which Catalog box. You can choose from the following catalogs: S.P. Richards, United, or Tech Data.

3. Click an option in the Category box ( Multi-Level, Single-Level, Page, or Vendor). If a category is not available for the catalog you chose, the option is gray.

4. After you choose your view option, click the item category on the left side of the dialog box. The Number, Description, and List for the item displays in the box on the right. For more information, see In the Catalog Explorer Dialog Box.

Note: If you use Multi-Level, only the lowest level in the box on the left generates a display in the box on the right.

5. To select an item, double-click it or highlight the item and click Select.

Note: To exit from the Catalog Explorer dialog box without selecting an item, click Cancel.

6. The cursor returns to the Item Master tab and displays the item you entered. Continue entering information as you normally would.
