Understanding Pricing Factors
In your DDMS system, a suggested selling price for each item is calculated. A number of factors affect this price. You enter customer pricing factors for each customer and item pricing factors for each item. You enter other pricing factors in the Order Entry parameters.
You use some pricing factors in combination with others, and some pricing factors override others. Therefore, when planning your pricing strategies, you must understand all of the elements involved and how they interact.
Item pricing information is entered in the Item Master tab, Item Settings tab, Add Wholesaler Vendor dialog box, Add Manufacturer dialog box, and the (ET) Inventory Contract Price screen. You can enter different pricing information for each location in the Pricing boxes in the Item Settings tab and the Column Pricing boxes in the Item Master tab.
