Retrieving an Item Using a Specific Box

1. Tab to or click the box to use to search for an item. This highlights the information currently in the box. (You can use the Number, Company, Description or UPC Code box.) Notice that these box names are bold, indicating you can use them to search.

2. Type the information for the item to select over the highlighted information. (This does not destroy the current information.)

3. Press Enter to find the first item containing the information you typed.

Note: You must press Enter to search. If you press Tab, you change the information in the search box instead of searching.

4. If the first item is not the correct one, scroll through the items until the item you need displays or search again using a different search box.

Note: If you scroll with the Next and Previous buttons after searching with a search box, items display according to the last search box used. For example, if the last search used the Description box, scrolling displays items in description order, beginning with the last description displayed.
