Item Mass Changes

You can reset the on-hand and allocated quantities for multiple bin items. When you do, the system bases the quantities on those specified for your bins, so the bin quantities must be accurate. You only need to use this program if something unusual happens to throw off your system’s on-hand and allocated quantities.

  1. To access the specials screens, double-click graphics\KEYOPMENUICON16.gif, then double-click graphics\SPECIALSICON16.gif. The (+) Special Programs screen opens.

  2. Select E, Modify Inventory Records. The (+E) Special Item screen displays.

  3. Select U to open the (+EU) screen. This screen lets you reset the on-hand and allocated quantities for multiple bin items. A message to begin the reset process displays.

  4. The system displays the This Program Will Reset the I-AUX On-hand And Allocated Quantities for Multiple Bin Items From The I-AUX-BIN File For This Location message.

  5. If the correct location is displayed, press Enter. If the correct location is not displayed, enter the correct location number. When you enter the location or press Enter to accept the default, the system displays the Are You Sure prompt. Type Y.

  6. When the program is complete, the system displays the Multiple Bin Records Read I-AUX Records Written messages.

Warning: Use extreme caution when using these functions. We recommend that you perform a backup before any mass changes or deletions are performed.
