Item Concepts

For each item, you enter purchasing information. If you purchase from a wholesaler, enter the purchasing information in the Add Wholesaler Vendor dialog box. If you have a direct-buy source for an item, enter the information in the Add Manufacturer dialog box for that item.

 

Some of the information in the Add Wholesaler Vendor dialog box can have a dramatic influence on how DDMS operates. For this reason, we recommend that you complete certain boxes before going live. The important information to complete is as follows: ID box, Buy UOM / Carton Size boxes and Cost $ box.
