About UPC Aliases
The UPC Alias type is only used as a holding area for bar codes that are loaded from an external source, such as the O/PUS update. After loading these aliases, copy the bar codes from a UPC alias type to a COMMON alias type.

Note: If you want to manually enter a UPC bar code alias, you must add it as a Common Alias. For instructions, see Adding a Common Alias.
