About Bill of Materials Reports
There are two types of Bill of Materials reports available, the Indentured Parts Report and the Where Used Report. The Pricing Estimates Report is reserved for future use.
The Indentured Parts Report has two parts: the Indentured Part Listing and the Component Part Listing. When printing this report, you can choose one or both. You print this report through the (RR) Inventory Reports screen.
The Indentured Part Listing shows the components and sub-assemblies that make up a bill of materials assembly. It can also list the components that make up sub-assemblies. You can personalize the Indentured Part Listing by printing a customer’s name and address at the top and presenting it as an estimate or bid.
The Component Parts Listing lists each component in the assembly, and each component in the sub-assemblies.
The Where Used Report prints a list of all the assemblies in which a selected component is included. You print this report through the (RR) Inventory Reports screen.
