Changing Customer Monthly Budget History
You can set up and track your customer budgets in the Customer History Monthly Budgets tab. There are three types of budgets that you can use: fixed monthly budget, floating monthly budget and P/O budget.
Note: Before you use the customer budgets feature, you should review two parameters in the (LG5) Additional Order Entry Parameters screen. For more details, see Understanding Customer Monthly Budgets.
Double-click
. The Customer window opens, displaying the information for the last customer used.
Select the customer for whom to set up or change budgets. For details, see Selecting a Customer.
Click
to view Customer History.
Go to the Monthly Budgets tab by clicking the tab. At this point, you can set up or change a P/O, fixed monthly, or floating monthly budget for this customer.
To set up or change a fixed or floating budget, be sure the Use P/O Budget box is not checked. If it is checked, clear this box. Click each box below that contains the information to change, or press Tab to move from one box to the next. For more information about each box, see In the Customer History Monthly Budgets Tab.
Note: The PO # box does not apply when setting or changing monthly budgets.
To set up a P/O budget, check the Use P/O Budget checkbox. The 2 through 12 columns in the lower portion of the tab are removed. Click each box below that contains the information to change, or press Tab to move from one box to the next. For more information about each box, see In the Customer History Monthly Budgets Tab.
Note: The Disable Rolling Budgets/Credit box does not apply when setting or changing P/O budgets.
When you finish setting or changing customer budget information, close the Customer History window.
When you return to the Customer window, click
to save changes.
