Even though Dealer Station DDMS Edition looks and acts like conventional shopping cart-based sites, it isn't. Your Dealer Station DDMS Edition site will be completely integrated with your DDMS server, accessing customer and item information and displaying up-to-the-minute pricing.

Dealer Station DDMS Edition is hosted for you at a state-of-the-art collocation facility with multiple Internet connections and redundant power supplies. We manage all the maintenance (backups, software upgrades, etc.), saving you even more time and money. All you have to do is process the orders.

Personalizing Dealer Station

Dealer Station DDMS Edition uses standard Internet graphics formats. Choose from several site styles and incorporate your logo or other artwork into your site

Hardware Requirements

If your DDMS server is Microsoft Windows® NT or 2000, or AIX-based, the only hardware you will need is the appropriate type of router or modem for your Internet connection.

If your DDMS server runs PGD/OS operating system, you will need a Windows PC connected to your DDMS server via cable. This PC will run an interface program (included with Dealer Station) to provide Internet connectivity with your DDMS server. The PC cannot be used to run other applications.

Internet Service

To use Dealer Station you will need to work with your telephone company and an Internet service provider to set up a dedicated Internet connection and obtain a static IP address. You will also need appropriate communication hardware (a modem, router, etc.). Dealer Station includes e-mail links to allow customer feedback.
