Setting Salesperson Parameters

You set the salesperson parameters in the (LHY) Salesperson Parameters screen. Before you build your Salesperson database and begin using it, you may want to view the preset parameters in the (LHY) screen.

Several screens have an effect on salespersons. You can set related parameters in each of the following screens:

• (LØ) Global Parameters screen

• (L1) Terminal and Ticket Parameters screen

• (LG3) Order Entry Pricing Parameters screen

• (LG5) Additional Order Entry Parameters screen

• (LM1) Period End Procedures Parameters screen

• (X) Program Security screen.

Begin by verifying whether the preset options for location 1 are suitable for your business needs. If you determine one or more are not acceptable, you can change them. When you have set the parameters for location 1, set parameters for each additional location you run differently than location 1. If you do not set parameters for a particular location, the parameters you set for location 1 are used.

Note: The information you enter in parameter screens is stored in the file PARAMETERS.
