Viewing and Changing Order Settings
You can make changes that affect the entire order using the Order Settings dialog box. Since this dialog box lets you make changes for the entire order, if you make a line item change using the Item Settings dialog box and later return to the Order Settings dialog box to change the order again, the change may override any item setting you might have made. For example, if you change the second line item to non-taxable, but later return to the Order Settings dialog box and make the entire order taxable, the second item on the order reverts to a taxable item.
Note: If you manually change a customer's shipping address and the tax information has changed, be sure to open the Order Settings dialog box and select the proper tax information for the order. To change the tax settings for the entire order, click Reset Entire Order.
Click the Global tab.
Note: When changing and verifying orders, you can view and change the order settings that were specified when the order was placed. You can do this from within the Change or Verify tabs. You can also view and change this information when creating credit returns.
To access the Order Settings dialog box, click
