Setting Up Multiple Merchants by Locations
If you have multiple locations, each must be properly identified. In addition, for each location, you must enter its V Number in the Merchant ID field. Multiple locations are set in the (+VI) screen.
Note: If you are using one merchant in POS-partner or Net1, leave this screen blank. If you are not using multiple merchants by location, do not set up the (+VI) screen.
In the (+V) DataTran Utility Program screen, type I in the Requested Action field.
In the (+VI) screen, type A in the Action field.
The Location field lets you assign a numeric identifier to the location you are setting up. You must set up each general ledger location with a merchant ID. In the Location field, enter a location number and press Tab.
The Store Name field defaults to the name in the (LØ) screen.
In the Merchant ID field, enter the V Number assigned to you by POS-partner or Net1 and press Tab. (To find your POS-partner merchant ID, click Terminal Settings in the POS-partner Control Panel.)
In the Merchant Key field, enter the merchant key number for this location. Entering the merchant key allows you to send separate merchant keys and IDs for each location. Press Tab.
In the Merchant Password field, enter a password. Press Enter.
At the Are You Sure prompt, type Y.
