You can view the date a library was created through the (Z) screen.

Note:  To verify that you have the correct version of a program, view the program date (the date the program was created) rather than the library date. For instructions on viewing the program date, go to Viewing Programs in Libraries.

  1. At the Enter File Name field, enter the name of the library to view. If you do not completely fill the field, press Tab.

  2. In the Enter Unit # field, enter the unit number where the specified library is located.

  3. The Enter V=View, H=Hardcopy, A=Add, D=Delete, P=Pack, E=Extract, L=View Libdat prompt appears. Type L.

  4. The system displays the prompt Libdat Entry for Program Library along with the date that the program library was created.
