Inventory Ship Codes Parameters

Ship codes can be used with the S.P. Richards Special Order Items feature. This feature lets you offer your customers a wide variety of products not typically carried by S. P. Richards. When your SPS items are loaded into the Item database, they contain a two-character shipping code. This shipping code is cross referenced to the shipping code you manually set up in the Ship Codes parameters. You can also specify corresponding shipping code text of up to 50 characters. The shipping code text displays as a message to the order taker in graphical Order Entry and on the front-end user’s Web page in ecInteractive, Ships in 2-3 Business Days, for example. This information is provided by S. P. Richards and is stored on your SR volume serial, along with other parameter information. For more information, see About S.P.Richards Special Order Items.
