General Ledger Departments Parameters

Note: This feature is not included in all software packages and may require authorization. For more information, contact ECi sales.

  1. From the Parameter Editor window, double-click General Ledger.

  2. Double-click Departments.

  3. The G/L Departments window opens. Use this window to add or delete general ledger departments.

    Click ADD_A_RECORD16.gif to add a department.

    To delete a department, highlight the department and click DELETEX16.gif.

  4. Close the G/L Departments window by clicking CLOSE16.gif.

  5. General Ledger and Departments now appear in bold in the Parameter Editor window. Click SAVE-SMALL16.gif to save your changes or when you exit the Parameters screens, you are prompted to save your changes.  

Note: To abandon all changes, click UNDO.gif. It lets you restore the previously saved version without exiting the Parameter Editor window.
