Serialized Parameters

Use these parameters to set up journals and volume serials that allow you to analyze toner yield data. When purging data, you might save the data to an archived journal. For example, you might enter the journal name Z-07 to save data from 2007.

  1. From the Parameter Editor window, double-click Serialized.

  2. Double-click Serialized Journals.

  3. In the Serialized Journals window, you can set up journals and volume serials for toner yield. Click the Journal Name box and enter the name of the journal. Using the example above, you could enter Z-07.

  4. Click the Volume box to enter the volume serial where the journal file is located, IN, for example.

  5. When you finish entering journals and volume serials, close the box by clicking the X in the top right corner or click File then click Close.

  6. Serialized now appears in bold in the Parameter Editor window. Click SAVE-SMALL16.gif to save your changes or when you exit the Parameters screens, you are prompted to save your changes.

Note: To abandon all changes, click UNDO.gif. It lets you restore the previously saved version without exiting the Parameter Editor window.
