Printer Setup

Through the (@) Printer Setup Program screen, you can override a printer’s default setting temporarily. This screen also lists the supported printer types.

Note: Not all printers are capable of all of the functions offered. Refer to your printer’s manual for more detailed information.

Simply type an X next to the options that you want to set. To reset the options, tab through the screen and clear the X from the field. You can set any of the following by typing an X in the field.

• Italics On/Italics Off

• Superscript On/Superscript Off

• Subscript On/Subscript Off

• Double Strike On/Double Strike Off

• Underline On/Underline Off

• Bold Face On/Bold Face Off

• Letter Quality On

• Draft Quality On

• Reset to Default State

• Set 6 Lines Per Inch

• Set 8 Lines Per Inch

• Set 10 Lines Per Inch

• Set 12 Lines Per Inch

• Set 17 Lines Per Inch

• Set 20 Lines Per Inch

• Download Character Set to RAM

• Expanded Print On/Expanded Print Off

• Double Height On/Double Height Off

• Portrait On

• Landscape On

In the Printer field, type the printer name.

In the Test Pattern field, type Y to print a test pattern.
