Furniture Parameters

Use this window to set up rolling split commissions. Setting up rolling split commissions lets you pay commissions based on what has been paid on an invoice - rolling up the base pick number against all dash tickets. You can factor credits into this rolling of the base number. You can also roll payments into the base number for the payment to the invoice. For this to work, deposits need to be considered as a payment to the invoice.

With this calculation, the dealers charge back concept is figured against any commissions earned. A charge back occurs when a credit to the consumer is needed due to fault of the salesperson and you need to access the salesperson a percentage of the cost of the merchandise. The ability to calculate split commissions between a primary and secondary salesperson is also needed by capability. A capability is a way of categorizing services into one code. For example, you might want to lump furniture and machines together under one code. This feature also allows you to designate a percentage split between the primary salesperson and additional salesperson by capability. With this feature, you have the ability to distinguish between new and existing business on an order at the capability level to allow you to pay a different commission amount by new or existing business.

Note: This feature is not included in all software packages and may require authorization. For more information, contact ECi sales.
